, the song will also be sung by young artiste Sayari. It is scheduled to be recorded on Friday.

“It has been 25 years since Bajlo Chutir Ghonta was released. The director of the film, Suryaa, came to me and said that he wants to use the song in his film. After he explained the story, I suggested to incorporate a child’s voice and hence, we roped in Sayari,” said Silajit, who has also composed the title track of the film.

Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen as a teacher in the film that also features Shaheb Chatterjee and Rajesh Sharma. While the director, along with Chandrani Das, has penned the story, Padmanabha Dasgupta is working on the script.

The story shows how an unconventional teacher wins over a distracted child. “The film is based on child’s education,” said Suryaa while elaborating the story. “A senior teacher, played by Soumitrada, makes an inattentive child, Chorki, study. But his methods of teaching are very unconventional. He plays with the kid and even takes her to the garden. Seeing this, Chorki’s father becomes very sceptical about his methods and replaces him with a conventionally educated young man, who is not of much help either. The young man keeps on spending time on his mobile phone and the kid becomes inattentive once again and the story goes on,” the director added.
