Cactus frontman Sidhu recently recorded a song at a city studio to celebrate the birth centenary of legendary singer Hemanta Mukhopadhyay and released it on social media. Sidhu said that the recording made him happy for two reasons. First of all, he tried a new genre, for what he is not very popular and second of all, he finally went out after ages to record in a studio.
“Despite the fact that I am a rock band singer, I believe that Hemnata Mukhopadhyay had the best voice and in terms of tonal quality and no one can compete with him in the world. So, out of my respect, I tried Tum Phukar Lo," he added.
Sidhu went to the studio on June 14 to record the song and said that it was a refreshing experience. "After almost three months, I actually went out of the house to record and it was a different feeling, because I think every singer has a desire to perform in front of a microphone. At home, I was missing it," he added.
