Sayantika Thakur creates magic with her latest ‘Amaro Porano Jaha Chai’

You can take the Bengali out of Bengal, but you can’t just take his/her love for Rabindranath Tagore out, as evidenced by so many scores of talented Bangladeshi singers across the border. The pathos of separation of lovers or pangs of unrequited love always found its zenith in Rabindra Sangeets with heart-rending lyrics and unforgettable tunes. That’s why it’s so relevant even today.
Now, talented singer Sayantika Thakur has come up with a refreshing rendition of the famous Rabindra Sangeet ‘Amaro Porano Jaha Chai’ and her soulful voice will surely tag at your heartstrings. The re-arrangement has been done by Tatan Mukherjee while programming, master and mixing by Saayan Tewari. Featuring the singer herself, the music video has been directed, cinematography and edit are by Saayan Tewari.

“Ever since I learned classical music, Rabindra Sangeet has been my priority since it covers almost every aspect of human emotions. Amaro Porano Jaha Chai was the first Rabindra Sangeet I learned. So needless to say I always have a special feeling for this song. That’s why I opted for it as I started my singing career and recorded my first Bengali song. It was truly a wonderful experience to record my first Bengali song as a learner I think there is no limit of where music can take you and well talking about Rabindra Sangeet it always will be my priority,” says Sayantika while speaking about the song.
