Rupam Islam recently released his album Aami that is available on several online music platform. Now, the musician has released the video of one of the songs from the album,
Boi Chor
. Filmmaker Amartya Bhattacharyya has shot a part of the video during the Kolkata International Book Fair 2020 and the other bit is shot by
Rupsha Dasgupta
during the
lockdown period
. The video is edited by Amartya from Bhubaneswar.
In the album, Rupam has also collaborated with ace guitarist Amyt Datta. While the song is penned, composed and sung by Rupam, Amyt has done the music production and played the guitar.
On his video streaming channel & Fossils, the video is uploaded with a note: “Boi Chor video by
Amartya Bhattacharya
was shot at the Kolkata International Book Fair 2020. Rupam's portion was shot during the lockdown in Kolkata and the full video was edited by Amartya in Bhubaneswar during lockdown (sic).” Along with Rupam, the video also features
Swastik Choudhury as the book thief.
