Remembering the masters: SD Burman and RD Burman
A musical evening was recently organized to pay tribute to the legendary musicians SD Burman and RD Burman. A packed-to-capacity auditorium was left mesmerized as Franco Vas, Kishore Sodha, Shyamraj, Raj Sodha, Blasco and Nitin Shankar played some of the masters’ hit tunes.
A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE: Singer Amit Kumar cast a spell on the audience as he belted out songs like Bade ache lagte hai, Hum thi woh thi, Raat kali ek khawab, Raju chale Raju and Musafir hun yaron among others.

ANECDOTES GALORE: The singer also shared innumerable anecdotes about his father Kishore Kumar as the audience broke into wah-wahs.
Shailaja Subramaniam crooned Hai re hai tera ghoongta, Daiya re daiya and Piya tu ab toh aaja, which received a huge round of applause from those present. The evening was one that the city will remember for a long time.
