Tollywood is all geared up to welcome the new normal. While film and TV shooting starts from June 10, city musicians have already started recording in studios. Recently
Rupankar Bagchi,
Durnibar Saha and
Prajna Dutta
recorded two songs for an upcoming film. Titled ‘
Sorbobhuteshu
’ and being directed by Sarmistha Dev, the film stars
Rajatava Dutta,
Sreelekha Mitra, Arjun Chakraborty, Rajdeep Sarkar, and others.
“Always a pleasure working with Rupankar da, this is the second time that he is singing my composition for a feature film and we really enjoyed recording this song. The song ‘Phirey Esho Abar’ is a romantic ballad and we tried to make a very soulful and organic soundscape,” said talented music composer Prajna.
“The Rabindra Sangeet ‘Keteche ekla biraher bela’ receives a minimalist string meets piano reinterpretation in the silky smooth voice of Durnibar. The background is also going to be highly experimental as some quirky ideas are being worked on with ace guitar player and music producer Mrinmoy Sanyal,” added Prajna.
