Ratan Kahar willing to talk to Badshah

’s phone has been ringing off the hook since a controversy erupted over rapper Badshah using Boro LokerBeti Lo
as the catchphrase in his latest single, Genda Phool. “So many people are constantly calling me up. I’m liking this actually,” he told us over phone from Siuri inBirbhum
.As for the controversy, the 84-year-old who was also a lyricist for Akashvani, said, “How can I blame him (Badshah) when my fellow musicians in Kolkata didn’t acknowledge me? If he comes and talks to me, I will surely listen to him.”
When contacted, Swapna said she’s ‘disgusted’ with the controversy. “Badshah has humiliated the song,” she said. Speaking about her relationship with Kahar, the veteran singer said, “We come from the same locality. Our families share a very good rapport.”
She added that Boro Loker Beti Lo was release along with another hit,
