Music composer Raja Narayan Deb is happy with the songs of Surajit Nag and Ujjwal Basu’s Bengali

film

Michil. The film has four songs including one

Rabindrasangeet

and a folk song and Raja has also composed the background score. “Besides, there is a classical-based song, for which I have used a very modern music arrangement. And for the Rabindrasangeet, I have used an elaborate and opera-like music arrangement,” he added. The folk song has been rendered by Jayati Chakraborty.

. Basabdatta Chatterjee is acting on the lead role of Srimoyee. The rest of the cast includes

Bhaswar Chattopadhyay

, Falguni Chattopadhyay, Samadarshi Dutta and Rumki Chattopadhyay among others. Incidentally, Ujjwal Basu is also making a crowd-funded film Dudh Pither Gaach.
