Five women grapple with completely different challenges in Birsa Dasgupta’s latest release ‘Crisscross’ and the narrative received its emotional touch with the soul-stirring music composed by Jam8, a music platform lead by renowned Bollywood composer and Kolkata boy Pritam.
While speaking about his experience of working in ‘Crisscross’, Pritam explained why he didn’t the compose music of Birsa’s film himself: “See, the offer actually came to Jam8 and I was so excited about it.

It’s a fact that I haven’t done a Bengali film yet but I would love to do it in future. I am already planning for next year. I have so many Hindi films right now.”
The popular composer also loved the urban flavour of ‘Crisscross’. “The music has a lot of variations and flavours. The urban flavours of the songs touch my heart,” added Pritam.
He also revealed director Birsa Dasgupta worked really hard for the music of his film.
‘Crisscross’ stars Mimi Chakraborty, Jaya Ahsan, Nusrat Jahan, Sohini Sarkar and Priyanka Sarkar as the five female leads.
