Prasanna is all praise for the audience after performing at the Jadavpur University fest recently. Sharing his experience on Facebook, he wrote, “I always believed that Kolkata is one of the world’s most musically literate cities and I was proved right again today! The immense level of listening that tens of thousands of people can do with a complex and challenging set list of music given to them is a measure of how incredible the fans in this city are. (sic)”
At the event, Prasanna had teamed up with vocalist Varijashree Venugopal, bassist Mohini Dey, drummer
Shyam Rao
and percussionist
Karthick
to play his own compositions and tributes to
Illayaraja
, AR Rahman and RD Burman.
