Among the readers, Shimul Mustafa from Bangladesh mesmerised the viewers with his baritone enunciation of Ananda Bhairavi, a poem by Shakti Chattopadhyay. Among others,

Srijato

, Chandrima Chattopadhyay, Shrabana Sil, Bijoylakshmi Barman stood out with their choices of rain verses. "This was a show that transcended barriers to build a community of artistes celebrating hope among all uncertainties of life," said Sujoy.

Dam surprised with her reading of Borshar Dine, while Jaya Ahsan with her sensuous voice read out a text by Al Mahmud. Among the singers, Prabuddha Raha and Shameek Paul's performances, Aditi Basu's rendition of Kotha Je Udhao Holo, Monomoy Bhattacharya's recital of Bhora Baadara , Jayati Chakraborty's presentation of Ogo Aamar Srabon Megher definitely rejoiced the hearts. Shama Rahman and Liasa Ahmad Lisa, from Bangladesh, exuded a certain charm of the flavour of the season through the songs.

Danseuse Paramita Saha's contemporary moves to a traditional Tagore melody was enjoyed by all. Dancer Arnab Bandopadhyay was at his best with a beautiful confluence of classical styles. "I think the depth of Rabindrasangeet songs and the richness of classical style of dance together make monsoon depict a romantic picture. Classical dance also requires texts, which are as expressive as Rabindrasangeet," Arnab said.
