Nikhita Gandhi perform live at Tollygunge Club

It was one helluva evening at Tollygunge Club on Saturday as members and guests gathered at the AC Shamiana for the first-ever live performance by Nikhita Gandhi.
A student of dentistry and a trained Odissi dancer, Nikhita shot to fame after working with AR Rahman in I. On Saturday it was homecoming for Nikhita. Jazzalicious, a live concert saw the young singer put up a stellar performance with her five-member band, comprising Sajith Sathya, Jerard Felix, Godfrey Immanuel and Joshua Go pal.The 23-year-old set the mood for the evening with Ladio, which she had sung for Rahman. Well, that was not all. She belted out popular numbers like I keep on falling in love with you, You give me fever, If I got you, Skyfall, Black velvet and many more.
“I have known Nikhita from the time she was a child and it's a delight to see her perform today . I am glad that she has taken music so seriously . She is a true rockstar,“ said Usha.
