Mekhla Dasgupta releases a romantic single

A romantic single, Bheja Bheja Shopnogulo - Na-Bola Premer Gaan, sung by Mekhla Dasgupta, written and composed by Sreeraj Mitra is out now. The launch happened in presence of filmmaker Avijit Sen of Tonic, Projapoti and Pradhan fame along with the cast and crew of the music video.

The song traces the feelings that a woman experiences when her love is unrequited. To phrase it, it’s more like ‘na bola premer gaan’ or the untold love song. ““I’m looking forward to the audience's reaction to this song. It is a melody based song and different from what we usually listen to. The guitar and violin have been extensively used to reflect the mood of the song in the best possible manner,” said Mekhla.

Composer Sreeraj Mitra added to this, saying, ““Bheja Bheja Swapnagulo is a love song dedicated to the silent lovers this Valentine’s month, who want to but cannot express their love. The song captures how an individual fondly remembers their beloved. The composition is done in such a manner that it has a tranquil effect on the listener,” said Sreeraj.

The music arrangement of the song has been done by musician and composer, Rocket Mondal.
