‘Mon Kyamoner Jonmodin’ singer Mekhla Dasgupta has released the first two songs from her latest album ‘Naivedya’. There are a total of five songs in the album and four renowned music directors such as Indraadip Dasgupta, Ranajoy Bhattacharya, Biswarup Ghosh and Kapil Chatterjee have joined hands with the talented singer to make the album a melodious journey.
While the first song is ‘Tui Asbi Kobe Bol’ the second one is ‘Swapno Perie’ and both the songs have been lapped up by the listeners.

Interestingly, the images of all the Music Composers and Lyricists in the album art have been hand-drawn by Mekhla Dasgupta herself.
Speaking about the core concept of the album Mekhla Dasgupta shared, "The essence of life for me revolves around Music & Arts. I cannot imagine my existence without them. I am a firm believer of God and most importantly I believe that a living god resides within every individual. To present an offering to these beautiful gods, I have prepared 5 songs as flowers in a garland. These are my, Mekhla Dasgupta’s most precious offerings as an artist and lifelong devotee of all music-loving Gods around the world."
Composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, the lyrics of ‘Tui Asbi Kobe Bol’ are penned by Ritam Sen while Raja Chowdhury is in guitar, violin by Rohan Roy and sitar by Rahul Chatterjee and programming, mix- mastering by Amit Chatterjee.

For the second song ‘Swapno Perie’, music, lyrics, arrangement and programming are by Ranajoy Bhattacharya and guitar by Ritaprabha Ray while mixing and mastering by Anirban Ganguly.

The album is the first volume of ‘Naivedya’ and Mekhla says she’s already working on the second volume which will be released digitally just like this first part.
