Mamata Shankar, Dona Ganguly felicitated

String: Beading the Fringes -a two day dance festival was organized by Darpani, in association with Ministry of Culture, at a city auditorium recently.
The event commemorated its long-standing guru-sishya parampara of 20 years by unveiling a memorial silver coin of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra. Yugaanta, a dance drama based on The Mahabharata and Maayaa based on Rabindranath Tagore's texts were presented by Alokananda Roy and her troupe.The likes of Mamata Shankar, Dona Ganguly, Sutapa Talukdar and Alokananda were also felicitated at the do.
