Talking about the romantic song, Madhushree told us that it is about a girl, Minakshi, who stays in a metropolitan city in India, while her husband stays in another city for work. “In the video, Minakshi is thinking about her husband and humming the song,” Madhushree added. Composed by Justin Prabhakaran, the song is being picturised on Sanya Malhotra.

“I was just a little boy when Kabhi Neem Neem came out in 2004 and since then I have been a fan of Madhushree,” Justin told us.

Talking about the new trend of albums and singles that has started making a comeback, Madhushree said that in many ways it is good for the musical fraternity of the industry. “But it is not the same when it comes to the OTT platforms. Even though there is good content created on several platforms, the scope of melodious songs is steadily decreasing. OTT platforms have provided ample opportunities for actors, but it is not the same for singers. The concept of lip-sync has taken a backseat, as most shows are based on background music and scores,” she added, signing off.
