‘Kuler Achaar’ first song ‘Bhul Koreche Bhul’ explores subtle melancholia of romance

The first song from Madhumita Sarcar and Vikram Chatterjee’s upcoming film ‘Kuler Achaar’ is out now. The song, titled ‘Bhul Koreche Bhul’, sheds light on a couple’s repentance of their lost time or moments in this soft romantic number.

The vocal symphonies of Mahtim Shakib and Madhubanti Bagchi beautifully complement the subtle melancholia of the song. Composed by Prasen-Mainak and Prasen’s soulful lyrics sum up the true essence of the storyline and it’s heartwarming, to say the least.

The story of ‘Kuler Achaar’ is all about the willingness of a woman to keep her maiden surname and the comedic yet poignant complexities that follow her marital life.

Madhumita makes a comeback to the big screen with this film after the success of ‘Cheeni’ and ‘Tangra Blues’. She plays Mithi, a young woman who can go to any extent not to change her surname after marriage. Vikram Chatterjee will be seen as Pritam, the supportive and liberal husband of Mithi. The film also stars Indrani Halder and Sujan Mukherjee as Mithi’s in-laws.

‘Kuler Achaar’ is slated for a July 15 theatrical release.
