The latest track is a traditional folk Kirtan that resonates the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna beautifully written and composed by Tanmoy Sarkar. His composition and lyrics are quite true to the genre of Radha Krishna kirtan. Bablu Das’ rendition has also beautifully crafted the required feel. It’s no doubt a refreshing break from the typical sweet romantic melodies or peppy dance numbers.

The video sees the protagonists Rajlokhi and Srikanto excited about decorating their new home. We generally see the use of folk songs where the backdrop is often a rural area but on contrary to that trend, this song offers the backdrop of an urban landscape with high rise buildings and markets. Through this kirtan gharana song, director Pradipta Bhattacharya has superbly drawn parallels between the love saga of Rajlokhi-Srikanto and that of Radha and Krishna.

In this film, Ritwick Chakraborty plays Srikanto while Bangladeshi actress Jyotika will be seen as Rajlokhi. Rahul Banerjee and Aparajita Ghosh Das also play pivotal roles.
