Kendraka jazz up the night for Kolkata

Kendraka came together at a city pub recently for a summer evening gig.
Bumpy on bass and Gabu on drums were joined by Bodhisattwa Ghosh on guitar, Nilanjan Ghosh on tabla, and Sourav Chatterjee on conga. The band played original compositions of Kendraka along with jazz standards like So what by Miles Davis and Love supreme by John Coltrane. Bianca Love crooned Summertime, much to the delight of the guests present.“It was a fantastic reunion for me," said Bodhisattwa, who has earlier played for the band for four years. We spotted director Sayantan Mukherjee and painter Eleena Banik enjoying the evening with friends.
