Keith Thomas to record songs with young singers from the city

Keith Thomas, multiple Grammy Award winner with Academy Awards and Billboards to his name, has produced music for Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Adam Levine and many more. This time he is coming to India and will record with Indian artistes in Kolkata for international projects. For this project, popular playback singers and young budding talents from music reality shows like Somchanda Bhattacharya, Anwesha Dutta, Sayan Chowdhury, Arunashish Roy, Manisha Karmakar, Rik Basu, Shubham Banerjee, Aritra Banerjee and Porshia Sen has been roped in.It's a collaboration of culture and great opportunities for these youngsters to build a profile by working with Keith. Alongside Keith, there will also be Marcus Rixon, the founder and chairman of a USA-bsed entertaine,nt company who is in India.
He is also responsible for getting Keith and the team to Kolkata for the recording. With him, he has assistance of the artiste presenter and lyricist for the projects Rajrup Biswas, producing beautiful lyrics to the songs being dubbed here. Udit Arun Saptarshi is the sound recordist and engineer from India, who is helping out in recording of the songs. All total around 40 songs are being recorded by 12 Indian artistes over a span of two weeks. The instruments, and recording equipment are all from the USA. It is for the first time that such a huge scale project is happening in India.
