It was a full house at JU fest and the energy was unmissable: Nabarun Bose

Musician Nabarun Bose

joined Anupam Roy as part of the band to perform at

Jadavpur University

fest. "It was a full house and the energy of the youngsters created an electrifying ambience. The feeling of ecstasy was mutual. We loved performing and they were enjoying the performance to the hilt," he said.
Nabarun has been an important and integral part of the band since long and had performed in many college fest before. "I am with Anupam Roy in this band since his Bangalore days. It's been a long journey and we enjoy making music. But live shows are always more exciting. Recordings also has its own charm," he said.

When asked how different are the college fests from other live shows where they perform, Nabarun said, "There is definitely a difference. When we perform at corporate shows, we try to tone down our on-stage presence. But college fests bring in all the madness and unbridled joy of enjoying live music. We also select songs according to the occasion," he shared.
While they performed to an excited and cheery audience at the Jadavpur University Open Air Theatre, Nabarun couldn't help but smile back realising the craze for their songs. "The best part was when we realised that they could connect with the songs we were performing. These songs were written some 10-12 years ago and these university students were kids then. So, it is their childhood nostalgia. Like we still hold on to our childhood hits like

,

Hasnuhana

,

Tomar Dekha Nai Re

,

Bhindeshi Tara

and so on, they too had similar responses to our songs," he said.
