We were not surprised when
Jeet Gannguli came on board for
Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial comeback ‘
Sadak 2
’, a sequel to the 1991 blockbuster ‘Sadak’. The music maestro’s association with Bhatt goes back a long way. A number of his popular hits are for Bhatt’s productions such as ‘Ashiqui’, ‘Raaz 3D’, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’.
Jeet Gannguli has composed the tracks for ‘Sadak 2’ along with Tanishk Bagchi,
Javed Ali and Ankit Tiwari. This film also welcomes a new singer Suniljeet to Bollywood.
As the music recording for the film was wrapped up, recently
Pooja Bhatt posted a candid picture of the music department of ‘Sadak 2’ and wrote: “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams” # sadak2 #makingofthealbum #MaheshNBhatt @jeetmusic @RashmiVerag @TheArijitSingh @VisheshFilms.
A humbled Jeet Gannguli was quick to reply: You & @MaheshNBhatt Bhatt Saab have made #Sadak2 such a blissful journey for me. Thank u so much Puja.”
Coming back to Tollywood, Jeet will next be composing music for Birsa Dasgupta’s ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’ and Raja Chanda’s Dev-Rukmini starrer ‘Kidnap’.
