Guess who directed Fossils's latest music video?
Aditya Sengupta may have started out as an actor in Anindya Chattopadhyay’s Projapoti Biskut, but he has a lot more to him than that. He recently wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for Jeet and Koel Mallick starrer Sesh Theke Shuru. That apart, he also co-directed a music video of Fossils — Dewali Pee — with GF Kheya Chattopadhyay that is being praised by all.
Ever since the music video released on Sunday at the CD launch of Fossils 5/6, the music fraternity has been showering praises on the efforts made by the band.

Musician Rajkumar Sengupta wrote on Facebook, “Salute Rupam Islam again for one of greatest songwriting ...kudos to everyone whoever is a part of this ....great video ..great song..great production ....brilliant ...” Excerpts from the song read as: ‘Yippie yippie Dewali pee/ Nei rong nei tulir shilalipi/ Khonjo amay, ami ready, lukiyechhi/ Opomaaner shob rin chukiyechhi/ Yippie’ While the lyrics are edgy, the video is being appreciated for its smart treatment. Talking to us, Aditya and Kheya said in unison, “Making Dewali Pee was an intense experience for us. For the first time, the two of us were facing a mammoth schedule of 80 actors and over 15 locations with just four days in hand. This was independent filmmaking at its core. We dedicate this song lovingly to our parents and to those who have inspired us.” Aditya and Kheya are known to experiment with different creative mediums. While Aditya aspires to be a filmmaker, Kheya is also an actress. She played a cameo in Projapoti Biskut.
