who makes contemporary singers sing Shyamasangeet or devotional songs," Gourab said.

is happy to be able to keep all audience requests on social media lives and on-ground events. When asked how does he keep up with a wide range of song choices and which age group of listeners follow his songs more, Gourab shared, "It's difficult for me to pinpoint the age group in my audience. I feel blessed that I can sing old songs of

Manna De

and my contemporary new released in the same breath. This helps me attract a large number of audience with different and distinct taste in songs. But I also feel, they primarily like listening to me singing and can have every kind of Bengali and

Hindi

song requested, which is a plus. I have seen people above age 60 request contemporary Bengali songs whereas those in their 20s asking me to sing Bengali classics."
