Debajyoti Mishra has his hands full. The composer is scoring for three movies simultaneously —
Anik Dutta’s Barunbabur Bondhu,
Atanu Ghosh’s
Bini Sutoy
and
Rajorshi Dey’s Purba Paschim Dakshin. The albums are completely different from one another. “In Anik’s film, there will be Tagore songs and I will start work on the background score. In Atanu’s film, there’s room for a lot of experimentation and Purba Paschim Dakshin is a completely different film from what I have done so far. Rajorshi’s film has supernatural elements in it and it has given me scope to do something new,” he said. Debajyoti said he has started work on all the three films, and talks are already on for a fourth.
