Debajyoti Mishra rocks the John Lennon look

The composer recently shot for a band performance sequence for Atanu Ghosh's film
Arunima Ghosh, Debajyoti Mishra and director Atanu Ghosh were shooting for Abby Sen on Sunday for a band performance sequence. Mishra, who plays a musician in the film, was seen playing three instruments — sitar, guitar and the melodica. The composer was in two minds about retaining his long-haired look in the film, given the sweltering heat.But, a few minutes later, when it started raining and the mercury dipped, Mishra was more than happy with his rockstar looks, resembling John Lennon, complete with the long locks, spects and guitar.

But, more than his long locks, it was his music-composer persona, that spelt trouble. Turns out, Debajyoti, who is acting in this film, had to imitate the chords of the track playing, for which they were shooting. Being a musician himself, he couldn't just get the scene right, untill he actually knew the chords of the actual track by heart and could play them flawlessly on his instruments. Atanu Ghosh ended by taking quite a few takes in the process.

Arunima performed a dance sequence, in which she dazzled in two beautiful dresses.
