City musicians join hands to celebrate pujor gaan with musical adda

What could have been the better way to welcome the festive vibes ahead of Durga Puja than this? Recently, popular Singers Jayati Chakrabarty, Prattyush Banerjee, Srijato, Aritra Dasgupta, Piu Mukherjee were present at a musical event that, too, with loads of typical Bangali adda. The event ‘Gaan E Adda E Pujo’ also evokes nostalgia of pujor gaan among music lovers.Three new puja songs were released at the event.
Jayati Chakrabarty, Prattyush Banerjee and Srijato have teamed for the song ‘E Somoy’. While Srijato has penned the lyrics, Prattyush Banerjee has done the music composition, arrangement and programming.

Meanwhile, Piu Mukherjee’s ‘Chhaya Pore Jole’ has been penned by Srijato and music composed by Joy Sarkar. Aritra Dasgupta’s single ‘Bolo Tumi’ has been written by Aparajita Chakraborty and music composed by Sourav Babai Chakraborty. All songs are currently available across all music platforms.
The main aim of the musical adda was to spread hope and positivity. All three songs released are different in their own way.
