Buti works hard on Bangla pop

Lockdown has given musician Sudipto Banerjee, aka Buti, a lot of time to work on his passion, Bangla pop. After releasing two numbers, Eksathe Jai and Asbo Na Fire, the musician is now working on two remixes.
“I am so glad that my guruji, Pt Tanmay Bose, has taken part in Asbo Na Fire. He plays the hook portion and that means a lot,” said Buti.
Elaborating on the remixes, he explained that he is working with songs by Gabu and Pata.“One is Gabu’s Jani na from Lakkhichhara’s album Eka and the other one, Shudhu Tumi Ele Na, is by Pata. Ratul Shankar has played cajonito with the number. These are all Bangla pop music that I have been working on. This genre is basically, Bengali modern songs with electronic beats and synthesiser,” Buti told us.
