On Valentine’s Day, the city’s favourite pub, Bakstage, played Cupid the Istanbul Way! Back by popular demand, Istanbul Nights was the theme.
In the past, Bakstage has played host to Sufi Nights inspired from Istanbul, tanoura dancers, belly dancing performances and more. Istanbul Nights, inspired by Arabic tales is a night of Sufi music, Turkish tempo and mystique.

The pub was decorated with Turkish lamps and exotic drapes, as well as red and white balloons and hearts. “Belly dancing is enjoyed by all, as the music, costumes and the dance are very appealing. Hence, we decided on this particular theme for this Valentine’s,” said Sudhir Ahuja, director, Bakstage
