Beat Blasters coming up with a surprise music video ‘Paracyclone’

There was a time when Kolkata had so many instrumental bands. But unfortunately, that’s not the scene in Kolkata now. However, ‘Beat Blasters’ is one of the most successful instrumental bands in the city who continue to enthrall city’s music lovers.
This band is known for its rich musical instruments from all over the world. The new music video ‘Paracyclone’ which will be released on the band's next birthday on December 17 is an original composition and will be out on the band's official YouTube channel.The music video is all about returning to the mainstream stage from this uncertainty. The latest addition to the Beat Blasters is the musical instrument Balafon.

Beat Blasters started its journey on December 17, 2015, by noted musician Himadri Shekhar Das (Appu). The other members include Chiranjit Sarkar, Namit Bajoria, Shouvik Mukherjee and Ranit Das. Bringing back music to the stage and inspiring artists to go back to work is the key theme of the latest musical.
Speaking about the musical, Himadri shared, "We are bringing new music video again after many years. It was quite not possible to release any new work in Corona atmosphere. Just before the lockdown, Latin Grammy Award winner Ivan Santos came to our concert in Kolkata. We performed together. We've collected a variety of musical instruments from around the world. These instruments have become a part of our identity. We hope you enjoy this new music video.”

The new music video ‘Paracyclone’ has been directed by Rick Basu while actress Jina Tarafdar can also be seen in it.
