“Working with Iman Chakraborty was a great experience. An amazingly grounded personality and the best part was we enjoyed singing the song thoroughly. I knew that Iman Chakraborty would be the best fit for this song since it had a folk flavour to it,” shared Barenya who has also composed the song apart from singing it.

Speaking about the song’s real essence, the talented singer-composer says, “Mon kichui Jane Na is an extremely peppy song very unlike the kind of compositions I generally do. I wanted to experiment in this zone as well because it’s the one area which gets Bengalis going more other than a folk genre, and therefore I flavoured the entire composition with a well folk hook line.”
