The music album of Abhijit Guha and Sudeshna Roy’s Jodi Love Dilena Praane was unveiled by Raj Chakraborty at a star-studded event. The film, starring
Abir Chatterjee,
Ananya Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty,
Tridha Choudhury, Kaushik Ganguly and Kaushik Sen saw
Badtameez dil singer Benny Dayal recording a Bengali song,
Nokshi kantha, for the first time. He said, “I was ably guided by the music director. Hence, I had no problem nailing the lyrics.” Lyricist Srijato, who penned
Paltabe shomoye and
Ek chokh sopno, said, “The director duo did not make any change in the lyrics, making it easy for me to work with them.”
Parambrata Chatterjee said, “Even though I’m not a part of this film, I request all not to listen to pirated music.”
Sudeshna added that the music is just right for the film. “There are three numbers composed by Raja. There is a peppy number sung by Benny Dayal and Zeenia Deb, who used to sing for AR Rahman. Dibyendu Mukherjee and Ishita Chakraborty have sung
Paltabe shomoy, which has a retro feel, while Rupankar has sung the romantic track
Ek chokh sopno.
We have also used an Atulprasad Sen number,
Ke aabar bajaye banshi, sung by Soumya Pal,” said the director.
