Ash King’s Bengali party anthem ‘Kanya’ breaking all records

Ash King’s party anthem ‘Kanya’ which was released during Durga Puja is a hit among all. The vibrant and energetic party song has struck the right chord among the young generation of music lovers, especially those who love peppy dance numbers.
The music video features popular television actor John Bhattacharya and Shreyoshi Sen in the lead and their electrifying chemistry has won hearts as well.Incidentally, John starred in a music video for the first time since the 2018 anthem 'Mithye Kotha' sung by Anupam Roy.
Excited about his collaboration Ash King had earlier said that he was quite impressed with the song and he was eager to record ‘Konya’ from the very beginning.
Ash has previously recorded a number of Bengali songs but this latest one he recorded in the least amount of time with limited resources.

Shot in an underground location with some flashy lights and cars, ‘Konya’ is a so song filled with glitz and flamboyance. While the music has been composed by Kaushik-Guddu, Indranil Das has penned the lyrics. Cinematography is by Pratip Mukherjee and the choreographers are Saurabh and Vivek. The background vocals are by Kaushik and Shiladitya Sarkar.

Siddhant Sheth, who directed ‘Konya’, says they wanted to create something different from the usual Bengali music videos which are being made and Ash king's amazing track was the perfect song to support such visuals.
