Arnob plans to get hitched

Arnob

came to Kolkata in February to attend Srijit Mukherji’s reception as kone jatri. Srijit’s wife Rafiath Rashid Mithila is Arnob’s cousin. However, the

musician

could not go back to Bangladesh due to the pandemic outbreak and the subsequent lockdown. Arnob is currently stranded in

Santiniketan

and making music out of a borrowed guitar. But not that he is complaining.



“I had no idea the stay would stretch so much. I did not bring my instrument. After the lockdown, I borrowed a friend's guitar and practiced music,” he told us.



As a matter of fact, Arnob seemed to be rather happy with his stay in Santiniketan, a place where he spent a major part of his life. The break has also allowed the musician to spend ample relaxed time with his sweetheart,

. “I always thought that I would come here and relax, without any maddening rush of concerts and deadlines. I could not do that then. I could never stay here for more than 15 days at a stretch. This is a long break,” he said.



But when would he get married? “Not immediately, as we faced a family tragedy only recently. But sooner or later, we will settle down,” he said. Incidentally, Sunidhi lost her mother recently.



A brilliant artist that he is, Arnob is also busy honing his animation skills. “I am so close to nature that I have been enjoying my drawing practices. Moreover, I am brushing my stop motion animation skills. I am making small dough figures and then creating the animations. It is like an addiction. These figures are so cute that they are keeping me busy all day. All these while I have been running after work. These dough figures and animation have brought out the child in me,” he said.
