Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal weave magic in ‘Dawshom Awbotaar’ song ‘Baundule Ghuri’
The second song from the highly anticipated film ‘Dawshom Awbotaar’, titled ‘Baundule Ghuri’ is out now. The melodious track was unveiled at an event held at Presidency University which is also the Alma Mater of the director of the film, Srijit Mukherji. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities from the Bengali film industry, including Srijit Mukherji, Prosenjit Chatterjee and others.
‘Baundule Ghuri’ is a soulful melody composed by Anupam Roy and beautifully sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The song takes centre stage in showcasing the deep camaraderie between Anirban Bhattacharya and Jaya Ahsan, two brilliant actors of our time. Additionally, it offers a poignant glimpse into Prosenjit Chatterjee's illustrious journey in the film industry, evoking a sense of nostalgia that resonates with fans.
‘Dawshom Awbotaar’ is a double prequel to Srijit Mukherji's previous works, ‘Baishe Shrabon’ and ‘Vinci Da’. With its intriguing = storytelling and stellar cast, including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Jaya Ahsan, and Jisshu U Sengupta, this film has created quite a lot of buzz ever since it was announced.
The thriller is scheduled to release on October 19 and is expected to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and exceptional performances.
This Durga Puja, Srijit Mukherji is all set to make a grand comeback to his favourite thriller genre. Srijit's inspiration for ‘Dawshom Awbotaar’ came while he was making his previous thriller ‘Dwitiyo Purush’. Prosenjit Chatterjee's inquiry about the absence of his character, Probir Roychowdhury, from ‘Dwitiyo Purush’ sparked the idea. Given the fate of Probir Roychowdhury in ‘Baishe Srabon’, a sequel was not possible, making way for a prequel. Srijit seized the opportunity to merge the worlds of Probir Roychowdhury and Bijoy Poddar, leading to the first cop universe film in Bengal. This innovative concept was born from his love for cop universe films and the excitement of uniting these two iconic characters.
