Singer Anusua Chowdhury will be seen acting in a new play, Mollarpur, written by Sukanto Gangopadhyay. It will be directed by Seema Mukhopadhyay, while the music and the script are written by Archishman Chowdhury. It’s directed by
Debasish Sen Sharma.
Anusua said the story of the play revolves around a mentally disturbed woman. In 2019 itself, Anusua had started acting in plays with Cha pata, liquor, black coffee ityadi.
The story was based on an extramarital affair and was written by Anusua’s son Archisman Chowdhury.
Besides, the veteran singer has also started to create new content for her online channel and that is not limited to songs. “The channel is not just about music but also recitation and short plays. And I am dedicating a good amount of time to this every day,” she added.
The singer said after her illness, she’s still not very comfortable doing live performances and that is the reason she is investing more time in creating online content.
