Anupam Roy starts composing for Marathi film

As the process Unlocking has started, musicians too have started their work slowly. Anupam Roy, who has primarily focused on his independent songs during lockdown, has hatred working on the film projects.
“I am composing for a Marathi film, Avwanchhit. It was supposed to be released by now but all the last minute works were stalled due to the pandemic scare and subsequent lockdown.Now I am working on it. Besides, I am also working on Parambrata’s (Chattopadhyay) Bony,” Anupam told us.
That doesn’t mean the musician is not working on independent originals. After releasing an English number, Miss Understanding, and a song jointly written by Srijato, Anindya Chattopadhyay, Chandril Bhattacharya and him, the musician will release a Hindi song. “I don’t write much in Hindi. This is one of those few. It is about a couple during the lockdown. The song talks about a night. I hope my audience will like it,” he said.
