settled in our life a lot of us saw the period as a time of exile. Anupam Roy,

Srijato

, Chandril Bhattacharya and

Anindya Chattopadhyay

joined hand to pen a song,

Nirbashoner Gaan

, to chronicle the tale of solitude. The melancholy song that was uploaded online recently, features the lyricists. While Anupam sang the song, Piya Chakraborty joined in the chorus bit.

“This is a song of loneliness. We penned it during the earlier period of lockdown. But since all the studios were closed, I couldn’t record it. Soon after the studios became operational, I went and recorded it,” Anupam said.
