Aneek Dhar, one of the mentors for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, is in Mumbai on a long schedule. The singer, who was missing his daughter, Aadya, is happy to have united with her after long. “My wife, Debaleena and daughter Aadya came to Mumbai on March 20. This was her first Holi and we didn’t want to take a chance. So, we had our friends coming over.
All day, we cooked at home and had a feast; we didn’t go out at all,” he said. Aneek later took Aadya to Juhu beach. “It was her first at a beach and Debaleena and I were wondering how she would react. But Aadya was all quiet when she saw the sea for the first time. She did not make any noise even though she is very chirpy otherwise. When we returned home, she again started going about her way. She is our greatest blessing from God,” said the singer. Apart from his job as a mentor, which is taking a lot of time, Aneek is also working on a music video. “I have done a mash-up of two cult songs — Tum Aa Gaye Ho and Mere Mehboob. The music arrangement is very different and so will be the presentation. I want to see how the young audience reacts to these numbers,” he said. Aneek is also in talks with a music company for a couple of singles. “The songs will feature famous artistes, but nothing has been finalised as yet,” he told us.
