The music album titled Aabar Kolkatar Gaan is a sequel to the 1990 album Kolkatar Gaan, which remains a timeless classic. The album features five new songs that capture the essence of Kolkata, blending nostalgia with contemporary reflections of the City of Joy.The album Kolkatar Gaan, is still celebrated for its innovative compositions and lyrical depth. With eight enchanting tracks sung by Amit Kumar and composed by Rocket Mondal and Arnab Chatterjee, it became a landmark in Bengali music. After 34 years, trio of Amit Kumar, Rocket Mondal, and Rangan Chakravarty for Aabar Kolkatar Gaan has reunited. This album also has lyrics by Utpal Das, Sreeraj Mitra and JharnaBhattacharjee, adding new dimensions to the musical experience.With melodious compositions and evocative lyrics, Aabar Kolkatar Gaan promises a fresh yet familiar soundscape.
