Actors and musicians usher in spring

Dancer Indrani Ganguly celebrated Basanta Utsav at her dance institute with legendary actors like Lily Chakraborty, Madhabi Mukhopadhyay, musicians Pt Prodyut Mukherjee and Pt Tarun Bhattacharya recently. Actor Paran Bandyopadhyay, actress Debika Mukherjee and minister Sujit Basu all graced the celebration. Students the academy performed on songs like Ore Grihobasi, Nil Digonte and so on.Singer Debamalya Chatterjee sang Akash Amay Bhorlo Aloy and Borne Gondhe Chhonde Geetitey. The guests were seen smearing abir on each other and soaking in the fun. Since spring is a colourful festival, the performers also sported vibrant outfits during the music and dance presentations.
