A fun fusion of butoh and baul

In a unique performance, singer Dipanwita Acharya, Niranjan of Dohar and Vinayaki NTS will be singing along to butoh — a Japanese dance form — by Anais Borquin. “Anais, the Butoh artiste, is also studying the baul philosophy and will showcase the fusion. While the first half will see some Butoh moves with Tibetan instruments, the latter half will see its fusion with baul,” Vinayaki told us.The performance will take place at Alliance Francaise du Bangale.
