Rajatava Dutta, Avrajit Chakraborty and Tapati Munshi in key roles.
‘Dui Shalik’ is the story of two lonely middle-aged souls, connecting with each other without sharing a single conversation. The underconfident Partha (Rajatava Dutta) meets Sanchari (Ananya Chatterjee) daily on their way to work, separated by the ladies and men's seating area in the bus. Curiosity gives way to longing, as Partha falls for Sanchari - will he be able to tell her how he feels? That’s what forms the crux of this short film.
While screenplay and direction are by Tamal Sen, Ambarish Majumdar has penned the story and additional dialogues. Cinematography is by Shubhadeep Dey, edit by Sanglap Bhowmik, music and BGM by Anirban Ajoy Das. The short film has been produced by
Debojit Saha
and Ambarish Majumdar.
