Priyanka Sarkar is rooting for home workouts and green tea for her detox routine because it’s quite natural for diets to go for a toss in the festive season.
“My son Sahaj wanted to have pizza on each of the Puja days and I ended up having a slice or two every time he ordered. Though I mostly stayed home, I had lots of bhog with friends and family. We even went out for a Bengali lunch once.
So you can imagine the amount of festive bingeing I indulged in. But now it’s time to get back in shape. Thanks to my extremely busy schedule, it’s impossible for me to get time for gym. So, I am banking on home workouts wherein I do free-hand and cardio exercises. I have also gone back to my regular diet to which I have added green tea for detox,” shared Priyanka adding that in a year when the preferred option was to celebrate at home, food had hogged the limelight more than ever before.
On the work front, the popular actor will next be seen in
Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s thriller ‘Anusandhan’. It has an ensemble cast including
Saswata Chatterjee,
Rudranil Ghosh,
Churni Ganguly, Joydip Mukherjee,
Riddhi Sen and Priyanka Mondal. ‘Anusandhan’, the psychological thriller, is an adaptation of a play directed by Kamaleswar himself.
