Synopsis: The film is based on Satyajit Ray’s story ‘Nakurbabu O El Dorado’. Seasoned actor Dhritiman Chatterjee who has previously acted in many films directed by both Satyajit and Sandip Ray, is playing the lead Professor Trilokeshwar Shonku. Shubhashis Mukhopadhyay will be seen as Nakur Babu. For many of us Professor Shanku is a nostalgic memory of our growing up age and it will be a nice experience to walk down the memory lane once again while watching this film.
