The story revolves around a village couple Naren and Malabika who get married but a shocking turn of events see Naren’s friend Kalyan convince Malabika elope with him. But, after years of suffering and the harsh reality of life one day Malabika crosses the path of an elderly Naren and they recognize each other and goes to lead life afresh. The interesting part is, Malabika has always carried the nameplates with her and these nameplates are used like a metaphor in the film.
