Synopsis: The Satyajit ray tribute film sees actor Jeetu Kamal playing a fictional filmmaker Aparajito Ray and revolves around the efforts to bring to life his dream project ‘Pather Podaboli’. While Jeetu takes on the role of Aparajito, a character who has similarities to Satyajit Ray, Saayoni Ghosh plays Bimola Roy, a character inspired by Ray’s wife Bijoya Ray. We all know how the first look of Jeetu Kamal as Ray sent social media into a tizzy. Makeup artiste Somnath Kundu’s prowess with prosthetics was praised by everyone.
