Meet the BBFs of Open Tee Bioscope

RIDDHI SEN
REEL NAME: FOWARA
After Kahaani, Anindya kaku called me to say, `I'm planning something with you'. The film happened four years later. It's the story of a teenager (Fowara), who grew up in the '90s, so a lot was new to me.But my parents' experiences came handy. Also, Anindya kaku and Ronny kaku (Rajatava Dutta) had many stories to share. Fowara is both cheeky and emotional.Though I'm not emotional, I'm as cheeky as Fowara. On the very first day, I shot with my father (Kaushik Sen). All through, Anindya kaku made us feel at home.

DHEE MAJUMDER
REEL NAME: CHARAN
Four years back, Anindya kaku shared the story with baba (Silajit). What got me interested was that the film had football. I play Charan, leader of the para gang. As the film is based on Anindya kaku and baba's adolescent years -the first flush of love and friendship -I could relate to it.We started shooting on Saptami and I remember dyeing my hair golden. I tried to convince Anindya kaku with many stories, but he did not to listen!

RWITOBROTO MUKHERJEE
REEL NAME: KOCHUA
When I first read the script, it was like Anindyada speaking in our language! It felt as if I was watching a film where he was the protagonist and his friends, like Upalda, were there.I play Kochua, gang leader Charan's right-hand man. He is devil incarnate. I'm exactly like Kochua and didn't need to act. The five of us had a ball shooting this film and the bonding is translated on screen. I cried buckets on the last day of shoot as it's an experience I will cherish forever.

RAJARSHI NAG
REEL NAME: GOPA
This is my first feature film. Earlier, I acted in plays with stalwarts like Gautam Halder and Bibhas Chakraborty. However, this offer came through my dad as Anindya kaku is my father's friend. He said I was perfect for the naughty but nice Gopa. In real life too, I'm mischievous. The shoot was super-fun.We became best of friends. Anindya kaku was also extremely friendly and often treated us to good food!

SURANGANA BANDYOPADHYAY
REEL NAME: TITIR
This is my ninth film and my best experience so far. Being the only girl in the group, I was worried that the guys would bully me.So, I kept to myself in the beginning. But as I got to know them, especially Riddhi, I realized how nice they are. I worked with Paran Bandopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Kaushik Sen and learnt a lot from them. Also, Sohinidi (Sarkar) and I became good friends. And Anindyada never snubbed me except for one day. I was teasing Riddhi and Anindyada lost his cool. That too was a unique experience.
Open Tee Bioscope, produced by Rising Sun Films, releases today.
