In Pics: Swastika Mukherjee's broken relationships

Despite what people think, Swastika and Suman D did not start seeing each other during the shooting of Shesher Kobita or even when the film premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival. This is her first film with Suman and also stars Rahul Bose and Konkona Sen Sharma. Sources claim the two of them started getting to know each other after Swastika fell out with Srijit. The romance started blossoming around endFebruary, early-March. Friends, who have seen the two of them together, say that both were very happy with each other. The comfort level was such that they would openly tell trusted people around them that they were a couple. The grapevine has it that trouble first broke out over Suman's marriage. While Suman had apparently promised to be with Swastika, her insecurity often got the better of her and she would go into a rage. After Swastika was hospitalized, though Suman did not go to meet her, he apparently called up friends to find out how she was.

Jeet-Swastika: Jeet was already a star when he started seeing Swastika. No one went to town with their relationship though the two would often be seen catching late-night film shows and attending parties together. The reason behind their break-up is still a secret, but industry insiders said Swastika wasn’t ready to be a homemaker, a role Jeet had cut out for her. Jeet went on to marry Mohona Ratlani. Parambrata Chatterjee-Swastika: Their relationship was the talk of the town and Swastika was even heard saying, 'This is it'. From dining to partying together, Param and Swastika remained the 'it'couple of Tollywood for long. The actor also struck up a friendship with Swastika's daughter. The relationship, however, ended on a bitter note after Param left for Bristol and started dating Ike.

Dibyendu Mukherjee-Swastika: The two came close while shooting for Nondinee. While dating Dibyendu, Swastika took a liking for Srijit Mukherji and the relationship drew to a close. Compared to Swastika’s other relationships, this was rather short-lived.

Srijit Mukherji-Swastika: Though no one owned up, Tollywood was abuzz with Srijit-Swastika's relationship for long. The duo, it’s heard, started dating the shoot of Basanta Utsav and the director even landed up in Santiniketan to be with her. So thick were the two that Swastika was even seen dancing on Srijit’s lap at a New Year bash. The relationship ran into choppy waters recently over small issues.
