Radhika Apte, who has received a lot of appreciation for her intense acting in Sujoy Ghosh's short film Ahalya, has more reasons to rejoice. The actress will be now seen sharing screen space with none other than Rajinikanth. She will be seen playing the lead actress in a Tamil film opposite Rajinikanth. According to reports, Radhika's role is very different and has a strong meaty character. Radhika has been appreciated in films like Badlapur, Hunterrr, and has now grabbed attention with the trailer of Manjhi: The Mountain Man opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Rajinikanth has worked with Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Robot, Sonakshi Sinha in Lingaa and Deepika Padukone in Kochadaiiyaan.

Radhika Apte says infidelity not as bad as people claim it to be

Actress Radhika Apte has received a huge round of applause and appreciation for her chilling performance in Sujoy Ghosh's Ahalya. The Badlapur actress has stunned everyone with her scintillating presence in the movie. While the movie revolves around the story of Ahalya, and infidelity, Radhika Apte does not think infidelity is bad. In a report, Radhika Apte revealed that she thinks infidelity is layered and its not as bad as people claim it to. She further stated that she would never cheat on someone and has always been committed but still, she thinks infidelity has many variations and explanations.

Sujoy Ghosh's short film Ahalya, that was released on YouTube, has been applauded by viewers and critics alike. Ahalya is a 14-minute thriller that stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Presented by Large Short Films, the movie 'spins a web around seduction and deceit'. Introducing the short film, Sujoy had tweeted, "AHALYA .. our 14min thriller.. along with a gigantic thank you from the whole team :)"
